TOOL 02 / TRACKING

School Attendance Tracker

Mark sessions as attended, absent, excused or cancelled. Export before you leave.

Free · No sign-up · Browser-only

Keep a simple class log.

Use class counts, not names. Required fields are labelled; optional fields may be left blank.

Use one row per session. No names or IDs. Excused sessions count as not attended; cancelled sessions are excluded. Check your school's own policy separately.

On small screens, scroll within the log to reach all columns.

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

Each attended session adds one to both attended and counted sessions. Absent and excused sessions add one to counted sessions only. Cancelled sessions add to neither. Percentage = attended ÷ counted sessions × 100. If there are no counted sessions, the percentage is unavailable, not zero. Rows exist only in memory; refreshing or leaving this page clears them. Dates are labels and are not checked against a school calendar.

It does not fetch school records, verify official attendance, or store student data. All tool inputs are processed in this browser tab only. Blank optional fields are omitted. Any text you enter is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. Do not enter names, student IDs, contact details or other personal information.

Before you go

Does the log survive a refresh?

No. There is no local storage or server save. Download the CSV or print your summary before refreshing, navigating away or closing the tab.

How are excused and cancelled sessions treated?

Excused means not attended but counted in the denominator. Cancelled sessions are excluded entirely. This explicit convention may differ from school policy.

Can I export individual sessions?

Yes. Download CSV includes each session’s optional date and status, plus a summary. No name field is provided; the exported file stays under your control.

Does the site store student names or data?

These tools do not store or transmit entered data. They run in memory in this tab. The web host may still log ordinary page requests; see the Privacy Policy. Saved files, printer queues and shared devices are outside the tool’s control.
