FAQs

Detailed answers about calculations, printing, privacy and the limits of this toolkit.

Are all six tools free?

Yes. No tool requires a payment, registration or sign-in. You can calculate immediately, inspect the method and save a result without creating a profile.

Is a result an official attendance record?

No. It is based entirely on your own entries and has not been checked against a school register. Schools may count lateness, excused absences and approved make-up sessions differently.

Do you retrieve attendance from my school?

No. There is no school-login connection, register import or background lookup. Enter counts you are entitled to use, with a consistent definition of a counted class.

Are student names or inputs stored?

The tools do not ask for names and do not store or transmit inputs. They run in memory in the current browser tab. Avoid identifying information in optional text fields. Hosting logs and any extra plugins added by the site operator are separate from the tool engine.

What happens when I refresh or leave?

Inputs, session rows and results are cleared. There is no auto-save or account recovery. Download the text summary or tracker CSV before leaving if you need a copy.

How do I save a PDF?

Calculate first and select Print / Save PDF. In your browser’s print dialog, choose Save as PDF if available. Preview the pages before saving; fonts, margins and output can vary by browser and printer.

What is included in a download?

Every tool can download a plain-text result with its method and planning disclaimer. The tracker also exports session rows and a summary in CSV. Downloads are created locally; nothing is emailed or uploaded by the tool.

Why is my percentage different from school records?

Check whether the same sessions, lateness rules and excused-absence rules are being counted. This site uses simple arithmetic and, in the tracker, explicitly includes excused sessions in the denominator but excludes cancelled ones.

Can I reach 100% after an absence?

Not exactly by attending more classes alone: the original missed session remains in the denominator. The target calculator reports this as impossible in a finite number of future sessions rather than promising a rounded 100%.

Does make-up work change my attendance?

The make-up planner estimates time and weekly slots only. Only your school can approve work, assign credit or change an attendance record. Confirm requirements before following the plan.

Why are optional blank fields missing from my report?

They are intentionally omitted to keep the report minimal. Non-empty text is treated literally, never as HTML. You do not need to fill a period or notes field to create a report.

Can I use the site on a phone or with a keyboard?

The layout adapts to narrow screens, inputs have labels, controls can be reached by keyboard and results are announced to assistive technology. The tracker has a scrollable table if needed. See Accessibility for known limits and feedback guidance.

Does the site use cookies or analytics?

The supplied tool code sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and includes no analytics or advertising scripts. WordPress, the host or independently installed services can have different behaviour; see the Cookie Notice and Privacy Policy.

Can I enter personal or sensitive information?

Please do not. These tools need counts and general planning information, not names, student IDs, medical reasons or contact details. Review files and printed pages before sharing; anyone with access to your device may see them.
